There was rumor of price drop in for Christmas too but it wasn't there. I want to buy one but even if the price drop to $300 for this unit, we are saving $35 for a 3 months wait.

You might do better waiting a week or two to see if the $150 off $300 deal comes back direct from Sony. PS3 for $250 for taking on a new Visa card is a great deal.
