    live cashback "failed deposit" scam?
    Well I have been waiting for 60 days for my cashback and when I check my status..I found that my first cashback purchase showed as "failed" with a few lines like

    "We've encounterd a problem depositing your cashback reward into the PayPal account that you used for your eBay purchase. But we will keep trying."

    I have contacted the customer support (https://support.search.live.com/)
    got an email saying that there is a "technical issue" and they have been working on it, I should be able to get cash back within 72 hours and my case is "closed"

    72 has passed no sign of resolving the issue at all, and guess what, my second purchase shows as "failed" again with the same description

    anyone here has the same problem?

    please everybody who is having problems... file a bbb complaint... it might not do much but if they start receiving constant complaints regarding the same issue, it should help.

    Also file a complaint with your state's attorney general. We need to push as much as we can.

    Look like It is a well known problem for last 7 days.
    MS is laying off people and a shrinking net income.It could be ultimate problem

    My last one was a problem. It was 2 weeks late and I contacted them. Some how my preferences to be paid had changed and a paper check was added, in addition to getting paid by paypal. The payment failed. I went in and changed it to being paid by paypal only and the next time the money came through.-

    Sign into cashback account. Go to settings. Then click on reward methods. Make sure you are set for paypal only and not bank account or paper check. Some how paper check was also activated on mine and caused the failure. When mine was reset to Paypal only they repaid me and it went through. You will have to contact them for the repay. Hope this helps.

    Egad. I just requested a payment yesterday via paypal. After reading this post, I checked my Live account, and it show's $0 available (as it should, if the transfer was made). Then I checked my PP acct, and it hasn't been deposited yet. Supposed to take up to 72 hours? I'll wait patiently and keep you posted.

    Thank you for this information. I just checked my settings and it was set for paper check only. I deleted that and added my paypal account.

    I got my rebate back exactly after 60 days. I purchased on Nov 26th and got the cachback today directly deposited to my paypal account.

    I too had 2 paypal cashback payments fail within the last week. I have checked and added my paypal account as payment method and another pending payment went through to my paypal account. How2 do I get them to re process the 2 failures? Does anyone have a support number to call to get things processed correctly?

    I've had the same problem...three times on the same deposit. Amazingly, I've had a deposit right before this one and right after go through just fine, both being deposited to paypal. These two deposits were of lower sum than the one that is causing trouble. Just submitted it the third time...let's see what happens. Support has been non-responsive.

    Anyone had the following issue before? Basically, today is the day my pending cashback reward is to become available. It's still showing up as pending though. Is this normal guys? Thanks for the help.

    I got the same failed message. I checked my settings and my paypal account was removed somehow. I added it back.

    Do I have to contact them now to reissue the cashback? What a PITA.

    It seems like I was one of the lucky few.. I got my cashback without even requesting it. $120 sent to my PayPal with no problems.
