Free Mcdonalds Medium Coffee or Iced Coffee February MD/DC Area

I heard the radio ad in MD yesterday, searched on here & only found the McCafe post (not the same). I posted what I'd heard on the radio (same thing you saw at the store) and got ripped a new one by a rude poster saying that it was nothing new & has been posted here since 1/26. I didn't start a new thread, just posted it there. So be forewarned that you might be reamed for posting this. LOL

Yea, I searched and didn't see this deal posted, I saw the McCafe one, and I thought that was something different, since my MCdonald's doesn't have the McCafe, so I posted this one anyway. Figured worst case is i'll get some hateful words and death threats for trying to tell people about free coffee.

I was at one here in Delaware at 745am this morning and they charged me $1.89 for my vanilla iced coffee. Hmmmmm

Free McDonalds coffee for early birds in February

So, more Cheap Trick Thursday: workplace columnist Hanah Cho tipped me off to an intriguing offer from McDonalds --- one free medium McCafe coffee from 5 to 8 a.m. every day in February, at Golden Arches locations that sport fancy McCafes selling fancy coffee beverages.

Tried it the other day, the mcdonald's near me had the same ad. i asked for a free coffee along with my bf's 2 for $3 sausage mcmuffins and my bacon egg and cheese mcgriddle. got the coffee but when i looked at the receipt i was still charged for the coffee. it was $1.09 but i couldn't get myself to drive back and get laughed at. :p

In the LA Times they printed but i am not sure if LA is having that free coffee.

"McDonald's is giving away free gourmet coffees. And Starbucks will soon have a value menu. Starbucks, value?"

Heh, you are braver than me for withstanding the tongue lashings! LOL

I agree this is NOT the same as the McCafe offer!! It's from 5-9 at participating McDonald's in February NOT the ones with the McCafe things! It's a regular coffee or iced or flavoried iced coffee, NOT the lattes or whatnot! No coupon needed and so forth.

...the only catch is... you have to get the coffee before 8am. What I like about the deal is that you don't have to buy anything else. They hope you buy something else, obviously, and I do almost every time.

I told the manager the other day at my frequented McDonald's how effective this marketing is... since I don't normally eat breakfast, the free coffee gets me to buy breakfast 95% of the time. I hope this never dies but like all good things, it will.

Maryland doesn't apply to me but I'm repping OP for the heads up, though.
