It beats the competition because of the solid state drive.

    Dell Laptop

I have 2 dell laptops and a Dell printer. Both have proved to be so dependable that my children took one of mine and the other also purchased a Dell Inspiron. I am in desperate need of a new laptop.

A backlit keyboard, SSD, and a nice solid build/feel gives this laptop an edge over similarly spec'ed competitors

    Value; Performance; Style

With the Latitude E6500 Dell proves it is not just a competitor, but that it can produce what is necessary to offer more than the competition. The SSD and capable processor alone boast value for the price tag; throw in the fact that it uses XP and other perks like mobile broadband capability and backlit keyboard and you have a machine that has the power to perform, yet also all the bells and whistles that make it attractive, efficient, and stylish. I'm currently running a Dell desktop that was purchased 4 years ago, and with only few upgrades it is still getting the job done for me. I've been pleased with Dell, but often tempted to look elsewhere for a 'business' laptop. With this model Dell has done enough to keep my interest and support. I would be thrilled to have one of these.
