Last time I did the checking with direct deposit deal for a free $125, I had to keep the account open for at least 6 months. I have a small amount of about 1-2% from my paycheck going in to that separate account and plan on closing it once the 6 months are up.

If this deal is good without keeping your account open for past 1 month, I'll happily give them $500 for 2/5ths of my money back! I'll just close it after the 1 month period.

They are only in 10 states. Is this true? Though the fine print above specifies 17 states, no online possibility or anything?

I'm with WAMU right now and about to become Chase, since I do use the acct for Amazon Marketplace and Ebay seller, do you guys think I can close the personal checking and "upgrade" or open to this business checking to get the $200?

anyways, i remember something like chase only allowing one bonus credit per calendar year month. am i right? so if you did 125 before, are you not eligible?

I have a business so I will check this out. There are 2 CHASE branch within 2 miles from me. Im pretty sure you need paper showing that you have setup a business name such as an assume name certificate, DBA (doing business as)...etc. to get started.

I'll find out later today.
