Get $2 Coupons When You Find Expired Products at CVS (CA Only)

Just heard this on CBS Evening News:

CVS Pharmacy stores in California are required provide customers a $2 coupon if they identify products on store shelves that are past their sell-by date, under a settlement with the state attorney general announced Wednesday.

The agreement with Attorney General Jerry Brown also applies to Longs Drug Stores California, which CVS purchased last year.

What a MM. Hit up all the stores and you can be making lots of ECBs with NO OOP, except gasoline to drive around. Don't forget, you cannot combine a xx/xx off in any transaction. I am sure the $2 coupons is a manually printed ECB

Lord have mercy, I'll be able to buy a BMW with all the ECBs just one store has around here...

From the article: The agreement settles claims that CVS stores routinely sold expired baby formula, over-the-counter medication and dairy products.

Claims my heiney, I KNOW they did because I accidentally bought some.

Not a problem, I didn't know where to stick the darn thing and had it over in coupons so it got missed. Now if I could take a trip to California...

This is AWESOME - we'll all be rich! At least they're making up for all the ECBs we lost during the Longs change over.

To bad they don't have that here in Ohio. I found three Skin Effects items on clearance that expired last month. I brought them up to the cashier, and got ...nothing. It had crossed my mind to buy them with expiring ECBs, and return for cash or a GC, but I was in a hurry, and the store was off the beaten path.
