This is pertinent information for anyone thinking that they'll lose big if they don't buy this before the weekend deal is over.
Devistater wants to show that this deal is a huge savings considering MSRP. If Devistater wants to pay MSRP for decade old games through slickdeals, he has every right. I'll pass.

Manuals are included, just right click on the game in the steam list and pick "View Player manual"
No games in this pack can be gifted away if you already have extra copies. The only games that you could do that with are some of the HL2 series and L4D.

You can give away the entire pack to someone else at time of purchase.
The x-com games have been officially transparently integrated with dosbox, so they will run on XP, vista, etc. You just click them in the steam list to run like any other steam game, and don't have to worry about anything else.
Each individual game has its own system minimum and reccomended requirements. These are shown on each game's steam page.

Examples would be a total conversion mod to play in the Star Trek universe (you start with a colony and a probe), total conversion to Dune universe, total conversion to MOO universe, total conversion to Star Wars universe, total conversion to fantasy Warhammer universe, etc etc.

Yeah, I agree, Rydawg obviously doesn't know good games when he sees them - Civ4 and BioShock are 2 of the best games ever made! You can say you don't care for FPS or for turn-based strategy games, but to just say there aren't any good games is ridiculous. |
