I have stairs going down to my basement from outside. Always gets leaves and grass in there that I can't get out with a blower. I'm hoping this does the trick.
Got one for my dad too. |

You can run these with a wet filter (basically a sponge), various degrees of dry filter (finer=more expensive) or just with a bag. Everything else is kind of common sense: If you run them without a filter installed, all the dust, etc will blow out the vents. If you suck up wet stuff when you have a dry filter in, the dry filter will get clogged and plugged. If you suck up wet stuff, then suck up dry stuff without drying out the vac, the dust etc. will stick to the wetness and cake on. It's easy to change/switch the filters. You can buy a whole range of attachments, including an adapter that will let it fit your normal vacuum cleaner attachments. |

Thanks OP, ordered one for in-store pick up with a 10% off movers coupon. I'm also interested in knowing if this has a blower function.

Thanks OP and repped! I don't know what all wet/dry vac is capable of doing, neither have I seen one anytime. However, reading so much good comments and seeing the enthusiasm I went ahead and bought one.
Also bought the 4' aluminium step ladder and a filler to make the total more than $50. Applied $10 off $50 or more coupon (I received it in my email through Lowes, thanking me for shopping earlier at lowes) and the ladder and wet/dry vac + $1.74 filler = $43.54 including tax! not a bad start to July 4th weekend! |
