Too bad you couldn't buy more than 1 at at time. Still a pretty good deal.

Bought this exact mouse a few years ago... has served me well. Made the switch to laser last year but you can use this mouse if you still use mousepads. With my laser I can just use it on the surface of my desk.

The only thing Microsoft can make well is mice and keyboards. Too bad they couldn't have the same quality for their software.

I think that "laser" and "optical" are one in the same. (Some one please correct me if I am wrong)

Are you sure that you might have this item confused with a trackball mouse?

nope they are different. laser mice are able to work on a lot of surfaces optical can't. i prefer laser since i can use my mouse on carpet or upholstery when im in the living room with my netbook.

Why are you saying this ? Please give me at least one example of competitors that do better than Microsoft ? ---> please don't tell me Apple !
