Asus Arctic Square CPU Cooler $9.99 AR + FS from ZZF (Back in stock @ 12.21pm EST)
Its no TRUE but from what I've read it seems to hold its own against comparable coolers and at $9.99 its a steal.

Asus Arctic Square $9.99 after $20 rebate from ZipZoomFly [zipzoomfly.com]

    Rebate Form [zipzoomfly.com]

Review, including acoustic levels from FrostyTech [frostytech.com]

edit: Its $23 AR at Newegg, but worth noting that pretty much any ASUS cooler is now under $30 w/ rebate at Newegg with the exception of the Royal Knight at $37 AR.

yea i got the zerotherm at zzf as well. the zerotherm should cool better than this asus as this blows max 40ish cfm while the zen blows near 60. also a bigger fan is the reason why at 120mm compared to either a 110mm or a 92mm. varied specs at zzf and newegg. but yea, i agree, if i wasnt on a budget and didnt already get the zen, i would get this

I don't think you can replace an after-market fan with this cooler.

    EDIT:

High ratings from customers' reviews: click to read [newegg.com].

I'm tired of cleaning out my stock fan on my x2 5500+
Sucker gets really hot. Thanks op!

Looks like a really decent heat sink to replace a stock with no?

Thinking about canceling my order. according the the reviews I have to take off my mobo. Which means unplugging my hd light, reset switch, basically everything, THEN putting it all back together. That sounds like way too much of a pain, even at 10 bux

... and that is the only way to attach big tower coolers securely to your motherboard. Spend 1 hour mounting the cooler to the retaining bracket, and know that your cooler is securely fastened.

So, you're saying you like those plastic push-pin designs? Those are about the only type that doesn't require you to dismount the mobo, and in my case I can't get it on without dismounting the mobo anyway. I prefer screwed brackets because they won't hurt my fingers. In for one... to keep around

This thing small enough to stick in a mini tower? I wanna maybe use it inside an old modded (extra fans) antec super lanboy. What's the clearance needed from cpu to top of cooler?

    Edit: 1k posts!
