Corn-Yellow/White Mosaic Sweet Corn on the Cob 10 Cents at Target YMMV
Fresh in the shuck corn has been 5/$1.00 for months, I haven't seen fresh sweet corn on the cob for 10 cents an ear for years!

I also could not believe there weren't hoards of customers running off with the good stuff, but there were piles of large ears!

This is GOOD corn, too! Wifey usually does not care for corn, but has eaten three ears of this since I brought it home yesterday.

ENJOY!

Great deal, too bad there isn't a super Target anywhere near me.
There are however 4 regular Target stores within 8 miles, what were they thinking?

The only corn better than this is the Olathe Colorado variety that will be arriving in another month or so.

In for 20 Sunday. Went back for more on Monday, but they were OOS...I asked for a raincheck, but their system would not allow that (rats!). Went back for 40 more yesterday. This item was on the front page of their national sales circular in last Sundays newspapers.

Here's a good recipe. Shuck in the store, when you get home, clean the ears with a vegetable brush to remove the silks. Wrap each one in wax paper, and refrigerate. To cook place on a microwave safe (Bounty is) paper towel and microwave for ~75 seconds, turn over, microwave for another 75 seconds. Add ~60 seconds to each side for 2 ears, serve with melted butter, salt and pepper, enjoy. (The corn will last up to 3 weeks or more in the refrig.)

Thanks for the information regarding handling and the recipe. +4 reps!

Thanks for posting, OP! I was there Thursday night and picked up 20 ears. I, also, was surprised that there weren't people going crazy over them... especially with the holiday weekend! Oh well, more for me!

Last March, we moved from Kalamazoo, MI to the NE side of Indy. I knew there were many more stores around, but I didn't know how much better shopping would actually be. Within a ten minute drive, there are supermarkets from six major chains (Meijer, Marsh, Kroger, Aldi, SuperWalmart, SuperTarget). A Fry's is less than ten minutes away, too, as are several other electronic stores. Home Depot, Lowe's, Menard's, Ace Hardware... Office Max, Staples, OfficeDepot are all near by.

All have liberal price match policies except Aldi.

We moved because my affiliation with the university ended and wanted more work opportunities for my wife.

So far, we can almost always find everything that is posted on SD and other sites, and at great prices.

I think he's joking that while he was there, another person was doing the same as him, thus bumping (pushing) him slightly out of the way. ie, the way many sders would act over...corn...

I wish there was a super target near me, or I would be buying a butt load, I love corn on the cobb!

I went to Super Target hoping to find the corn 10/$1. Didn't find it. I did find an even better deal - 20 for $1......super slick deal. This was at the Germantown Pkway store in Memphis.
