In for 1. Was about to pull the trigger for AC:CF at Newegg, even though I don't want/need the Wii Speak. Glad to have saved $15!

I recommend you get Wii Speak with this if you want any major improvements. Besides the town its basically a remake of the first one.

my gf plays singleplayer, so no need. 20 is lowest i've ever seen...it was 30 at the egg and amazon before. it may or may not have been 25 before.

I LOVED Animal Crossing and played it for about a year straight. It's a very cute, unique game. It is fun to disappear into my own little world for awhile and helped get my mind off of real life for a bit. It is a great game for people who are might not think of themselves as GAMERS.

Ha, there are some diary entries I need to delete off my storage card, now that I think about it.

Anyone else second the Wii Speak opinion? I have no intentions of sitting around for hours playing with other folks since I have a 5-year-old and am a full time engineering student. I did LOVE Animal Crossing for GameCube, too!

I already have it, but I was going to recommend this game to a friend, but I tried the link and it was dead.

As far as Wii Speak goes; I feel it's another Nintendo scam. Since it's only used in 1 game to date (with a few on the way, supposedly) and comes with it's own Wii Speak channel for talking to friends (registered via friend code), it's not a necessity for either the game or access to the channel. I bought without the mic and saved $20 I would never get my moneys worth from.
