    Panasonce TCP50X1 under $760 **DEAD**
**Well shipping had been put at $109, now it's 39.99 to just cancel out the coupon, kind of pathetic!**

This is a 720P Plasma HDTV....Follow the link below to Electronics-Expo.com and item will be $799.94 in cart, then apply coupon JULY4TH for an additional $40 (5% off) price. Comes to $759.94 and free shipping. I don't have tax in GA, I'm sure NJ does, but I have no idea about the other states. My first deal post...let me know my goofs!

A couple months ago we got a Panasonic TH-50PX80U for $849 shipped from Newegg. It's a 50"(49.9") 720p plasma. Our most common viewing sofa is 11' away, and the closest viewing chair is 7' We need to be about 5' or closer to even begin to see the pixels.

Blu-ray and HD DVDs are incredible when played through my HTPC. Standard HD-TV channels over our extended basic Comcrap service is incredible.

Worked for me, $760 shipped! (I stopped short of actual purchase) Panasonic plasmas are great quality, and this is a great deal! DON'T pass it up at this price!

Thumbs up and + 4 reps!

Oh,don't forget your "Monster Ultra 600 HDmi Video Cable - 4' " at 50% off! Was $80, now ONLY $40 for a 4' HDMI cable!

for the love of god PLEASE don't spend even $40 bucks on HDMI cables. Just go to monoprice and get it for a 1/4 of the price. Cables are cables....Monster is notorious for marking up their cables as much as 400%

Ditto. Although the 50" is probably a little big for my bedrm. Watching the 42" as I type and loving it. I have a 46" Panny as well.

Alright, I know everyone here likes cheap stuff, and for the average person getting a cheap HDMI may be fine...but there is a reason you see "nicer" cables out there, and it's because it CAN make a difference in your picture quality. Just because YOU can't see it doesn't mean it's not there (can you see the wind? do you believe in the wind? lol...sorry, had to quote some stand-up comedy). This is especially true if you need longer wire runs (we're talking 20+ foot runs, like if you're going across the room to a projector or from above the fireplace into the attic/basement and over to the side and then back down/up to your components) because digital signals don't hold up as well over long distances, and cheaper cables don't keep the signal very well over those kinds of runs, which leads to signal degradation and pixelation.

I'm not saying everyone needs to buy expensive cables (not even saying anyone has to buy Monster), but it gets old hearing everyone say "OMG I saw on the internet there is no difference and I believe them blindly because it saves me money!" all the time. In fact, most of the time I recommend the cheapest option available to people because I know they won't benefit from spending the extra on the "big name" cables. But don't assume that these cables are out there just to get people to spend more than they have to.

I agree with you very little... but I do agree.

There are cheap cables that are CRAP. But if you deal with a reputable company like Monoprice, most of the longer cables they sell are designed for longer runs.

Only a crap company would manufacture/sell a cable OK for 3 ft but extent it to 50 ft with no modifications except the length of the wire in the middle.

I see you're in Nebraska. Awesome corn for 10 cents each at SuperTarget! http://forums.slickdeals.net/show...&t=1434091

i understand your point about long distances, but we're talking about a 4' hdmi cable. I can't imagine any legitimate argument that this needs to be $40.
