Sounds like a good deal to me, but can't get frys.com to load at all. Should have a comparable deal online.

Is the cpu retail box or OEM, that about a $10 to $12 difference. + there is tax too at FRYS.
good deal, the same or a little better than the E5200 retail and Asrock G31 motherboard I got from EWIZ for $98.00 shipped a couple weeks ago. |

Dang! They're offering a similar combo in the Sacramento area, but that one has the E5400 instead and is $20 more!

Just went and bought it. It IS a boxed version of the CPU. They also have 4GB of ram (2x2GB) for $25. So after all rebates (1x$15 and 1x$20), $100. I'm going to swap these pieces into an older case (my first PC, I'm a Mac guy). Not too bad!

The deal isn't available in LA. The add shows the e5400 combo for $95 after a $15 rebate ($109 plus tax instore). |

Wasn't on the ad here in Indy either, but it was advertised on the wall in the components department. Salesman knew right away which one it was and had to pull a board from overstock.

Anyone get one of these cheap Biostar combos yet? Do they have better overclocking options than the ECS boards did?
