Hi,
I'm looking for a reliable place to purchase spare spare keys as well as a remote for my 2002 Nissan Maxima. I was just quoted over $200 for a set and programming fees. I have no problem with paying for the programming, but thought that $86 for a spare key and $100 for a remote was a little absurd. I've checked a few places, such as ikeyless, but most have mixed reviews. I've also seen postings that I should definitely go to a registered dealer. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, - Brendan |

not sure for the nissan, but i bought a couple of keyless remotes through ebay for like $20 each (search "keyless remote fobs for Nissan" or something like that. my 02 subaru remote can be programmed easily without any special equipment. as for a replacement key, i just had one cut at the dealer for like $10 (since there is nothing special about my key), and i've had a local hardware store cut me one as well.
