Seriously...she was making a comment, her Interpretation as I took it was...if you received a GC or a check from someone, basically don't look a gift horse in the mouth, Geeez people do in fact try to have fun at this forum sometimes!

Here is Bowen Research http://www.bowenresearch.com/, obviously you did a survey from them and you won $10?

if you deposit the check into your account you would get charged if the check bounced, if you flat out cash it..it is the researchers responsibility to pay the fee.

Maybe the joke was seriously misinterpreted but that kind of negative reaction really isn't necessary. This is the internet, people make jokes all the time - given your stats you should be more than aware of this.

Anyway, let's just hug it out and move on.

I agree..that comment was totally uncalled for. If you look at some of the other threads,Smidge1 has always been very helpful providing contact information and posting new studies.
