Uhaul is usually the cheapest. I would check out the other truck rental companies just to verify. You are going to pay more to have someone else move it for you.

The biggest pain/hiden cost is boxes. Start collecting them ASAP. Check on CL for people who have recently moved and are giving away boxes. Also check with local busnesses that may be throwing away boxes.

Thank you BeeEss, and BzHayse

I haven't thought about the post office for coupons, but that is a great idea. Yeah I am def not spending money on boxes when people give them away. The other is liquor stores. They give them away.

I also found that it is best to pick your move in the middle of the month, and middle of the week to get the best rates.

Plus right now Uhaul is actually more expensive than Penske on Price for the truck, and the cost of fuel. Penske uses diesel which gets better mpg.

Penske equipment is usually in a lot better shape than Uhual. If you can get Penske for less you just found a SD!!!!
