    Walmart is selling Stanley High Velocity Blower Fan for $12
    I bought it at Norwalk, CT


    Went into Walmart today, They had at least 20 of these left so YMMV

    Vornado makes the best fans. Their technology is that it creates a funnel of air. Moves ALOT of air! We have two in our house that run constantly to move the air through our whole house. They are a bit expensive, but WORTH it!

    Here's the best way to keep your house cool in the evening. probably not good for southern climates though. It will pay for itself in one season from lower AC bills.

    YES, my friend installed this in his home. AMAZING! Came home from work, opened up the windows. In 5 minutes the entire house was cool.

    OP, nice find if I can get the same deal here! I will go today. I need something for the garage.

    I have one I recently bought for 34 bux on clearance.

    You can easily take the whole thing apart, buy some black plastic spray paint and color all the yellow black. It looks nice and low profile now.

    If the fan is wired with an inline, line voltage thermostat, it will cycle the fan during the night to keep the house at a more constant temperature. Especially during very mild weather, with cool nights.
