My wife accidentally dropped her phone and it ended up going down a storm drain. She loved the Palm Pre but it is way too expensive to buy without new signup perks. Can anyone think of a way or place to get a similar smartphone at a discount?

Do you have insurance? You can generally add the insurance upto 30days.
