If you just want the game (and don't care about the box) this is a HORRIBLE deal as the Amazon prices are pretty much what you'd pay at a B&M store without any sort of sale.
As posted on SlickDeals last year you can order the following games from g2buy.com. The serial numbers are delivered via email and the games themselves are downloaded from Blizzard via Battle.net. No CD required.

Actually, when I started my post, Selma's compilation thread (which also lists Starcraft Battle Chest and Diablo Battle Chest) was no where to be seen on the first page, and a quick search did not yield anything when I started. Also, I never (and still haven't) received any SD deal alert regarding "warcraft", so either SD's deal alerts are broken, or are offline for maintainence. Anyway, thanks for pointing that out... Selma's hard to beat! At least I added a bit of new information by including the ECA discount...

My husband and I are burnt out on WoW and tired of paying a monthly service fee. Could someone please tell me a little bit about these games and if they charge a monthly service fee? We're looking to give some other Blizz games a try.
