Unfortunately those doing the research cannot get their work published in scientific journals because those journals want to silence them.
    That makes no sense.

Every journal wants to publish true ground breaking research.

You have no evidence to support your claim.

Here's what Rush Limbaugh would have said in the days when governments FORCED people to dismantle their outhouses, install flush toilets, and pay taxes to connect to sewer lines:
Now these liberals want us to believe that invisible animals in water cause illness. Where's the proof? Look, I'm drinking a glass of water. Am I sick? Can you see something in the water that's making me sick? Folks, this is all an attempt by liberals to make the government bigger, while forcing taxpayers to pay for government-owned, socialist sewer systems built by over-priced union labor. What happens if I can't pay for the sewer line? They take your property away from you! If I want to keep using an outhouse in my backyard, why can the government stop me? The Constitution doesn't give the government this right! Where is the toilet amendment in the Constitution?

Folks, when the government takes your property away because of invisible animals in water, it's time to revolt and toss that government out!

We have on our show today a scientist who doesn't believe this malarky about invisible animals in drinking water...

Pollute away conservatives, global warming was just a big lie.
That's like upholding the existence of the boogeyman in order to keep kids in line...or the validity of religion in order to keep people in line. Religion is, of course, passe in this day and age, so pseudo-science is used instead. Obviously, I don't believe in polluting the planet, but it'd be nice to know what the truth really is about this. For one thing, we need to get a handle on overpopulation...maybe we need to come up with something scary to make people not want babies ...then again, we live in a world economy built around consumption...if we aren't replenishing the bodies lost and adding even more, the world economy suffers...ah, it's never simple...

While I disagree with many things in your post, I find it quite funny and almost like something he would say. In fact, if you've listened to him recently, try to read it to yourself using his voice, I lol'd.

It wasn't parody. That is precisely what he would have said at the time.

Do you know how yellow fever was wiped out? The US Army took over the city of New Orleans. If somebody got sick with it, the Army rushed to their house, put up a quarantine sign, and wouldn't let you leave your home. Then they made you tell them who you were around for the last 48 hours, and they quarantined them. Then they sprayed poison all around your home to kill mosquitoes and any other parasites. You had no choice in the matter. That is what Walter Reed did. That is why he became the famous Army doctor.

Do you think nobody complained about all that? Don't you think a political opponent just claimed it was coincidence that Yellow fever went away?

To clarify; are you OK with the government superseding the Constitution to help solve a problem?

Didn't the Supreme Court say it was OK for the EPA to regulate CO2?

Yes, but did the SC rule that what happened in the early 1900s was Constitutional?

Absolutely not!! If we're faced with a problem that our Founding Fathers couldn't have envisioned, then we must amend the Constitution or let the problem destroy us.

Usurpers like Thomas Jefferson should have been hanged! It was Jefferson who rang up our nation's first debt with his illegal purchase of the Louisiana Territory from the French. He had no Constitutional authority to borrow $15 million and enlarge our borders. And this from a man who wrote the Federalist Papers!

Look at the sewage example I mentioned: It wasn't a problem when our country was founded, therefore it wasn't specified in the Constitution, therefore, our governments had no business mandating that property owners connect their homes to city-managed sewage lines, right? If your next door neighbor wants to create a big heaping pile of fly-infested human waste in his backyard, what right does the government have to intervene? The Constitution does not give the government this right.

Where DOES my next-door neighbor's poop go? In a line that runs underground, beneath MY property! How dare he! And I have to pay for the maintenance of that sewer line. So the next time you take a crap, remember that you're usurping on MY property right to do it! By all means, if you don't give a crap -- then DON'T give a crap! Because I don't want it flowing underneath my land, you Socialist usurper!

Why would the federal government have to get involved in it? The states can handle that, and they have the constitutional right to do so.

Actually the FF did envision other problems, else they wouldn't have set up a process to Amend said Constitution or they wouldn't have included the 10th Amendment.

Correct, the Federal governement does not have this right. The States, however, do, (see 10th Amendment [wikipedia.org])
