    Just a note National City become PNC on November 6th. So I'm wondering if this is a PNC offer as well or just an old NC one that expires on the 6th.

    I live in Ohio and received a card in the mail about this offer. The card does mention that NC is now a part of PNC.

    I had planned on just visiting the local branch. I just now went to the website and notice there is no mention of this offer--I assume you have to sign up for the account and then enter the code I posted in OP.

    The card I received does not mention to any restrictions by state, tho it does state on the website that Online applications for a checking account are limited to residents of FL, IL, IN, KY, MI, MO, OH, PA and WI.

    You can also call 877-526-3604 to complete this offer.

    Flyer says the following:

    Looks like you can be a current NCB customer, but you can't already have a checking account there......
