Received my camera today as well. Just waiting on my extra lens.

I'm gonna e-mail Amazon and see if they can do a price adjust for me. Doesnt hurt to try.

Thanks so much to the OP for posting this - I've been looking for a deal on this camera for a while now!!

Now does anyone have any great suggestions for a good camera bag to go along with this setup?

I haven't seen any deals recently but one bit of advice I have is to go with a bigger bag than you would normally go. You'll be surprised how quickly a camera bag made for 1 camera + 1 lens will fill up. I have an XSi + 18-55mm + 50mm f1.8 + 55-250mm + 430ex flash and keep it all inside a Crumpler 6 million dollar bag (which i love). I can probably fit one more lens inside my bag.

This is the bag I picked up on eBay for $36.

    Lowepro Nova 160 AW [amazon.com]

According to the reviews, it should be perfect for the XSi, kit lens, zoom lens and also a nifty fifty lens if I pick that up later on down the road. I didn't want an overly large bag and this one should work well for hiking and day tripping.

Did you use free shipping for this order? Amazon insists that my order must be delayed until all items become available before they can ship it to me. The filter is still out of stock.
    I need my camera now

mine just arrived! I pulled it all out, then put it all back until I can read more about it (and the kids are in bed and don't want to touch it ) I ordered on the 2nd, free shipping (forgot to do the prime trial) and all three came today!

Got mine too. Do anyone who've received notice the same problems as me: a) the box is not sealed; b) there's no protection cover on the LCD. If all of you guys have the same thing, I guess I can let it go.
One more question, can I check the shutter counts?
    Thanks for helping.

If I am not mistaken, Canon EOS cameras have a built-in, replaceable LCD protector.

Boxwave also sells them, which IMO are some of the best screen protectors out there.

Mines arrived the same way. All of the accessories and manuals were still stealed and no finger prints on the LCD, so I assume mines is brand new.

ooh that's right! i totally forgot about that layer. a suction cup takes it off nicely during replacement.
