Cavalry CAXB 2TB USB 2.0 / eSATA Black External Hard Drive $150 After $40 Rebate @ Newegg
    Newegg [newegg.com] has the Cavalry CAXB 2TB USB 2.0 / eSATA Black External Hard Drive for $190 - $40 Mail-in Rebate = $150 + Free Shipping.

I really don't mean to self-promote in any way, but these are other deals I posted from newegg today that i think are good deals, but have barely gotten any views cause it was so early in the morning.
BELKIN F5D8011 N1 Wireless Notebook Card for $13.
Flip Video Ultra Camcorder - Black & Silver, 120 Minutes (2nd Generation) for $100.
Rock Band 2 Xbox 360 Game EA (Software Only) for $20. (Same price as FP Bestbuy but it is not available for shipping + newegg has no tax for some states including mine)
Logitech RX720 Black 2.4 GHz Wireless Laser Mouse OEM for $19.
RAIDMAX Hurricane ATX-248WB Black SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case for $30 AR.

    Thanks for your feedback!

I've been doing some research, and chances are this Western Digital [newegg.com] Caviar Green WD20EADS 2TB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive is inside. Save $50 Right there.

    Next cheapest is $215 @ Buy.com [buy.com].

That is one hell of a slickdeal. $150 for a 2TB eSATA drive. Nice find OP

but it does suck that there is no eSATA cable included :/

The drive is JUNK. Hence the overall price of the product.

Sure, back all your Porn up and then the drive fails.

Will make a grown man cry.

    Stick to WD drives.

Seeing as how you are relatively new to SD, you may not be aware that we usually expect someone to make a case for their evaluations.

To merely say "The drive is junk" dont cut it.

Apparantly you have lost all your porn on an external. Is there more to base it upon?

considering every cavalry drive i've ever purchased had Western Digital drives inside them, I'd say your statement is pretty much bullshit.

I would not put data on a Seagate greater than a 750.. with out knowing what drive in a external makes it quite a gamble.. I have had 2 seagate 1.5 tb die on the first use in a row!

Cavalry enclosures are known for high failure rates (the enclosure itself), poor workmanship, bad drivers, non-existent tech support, etc..

I'd stay away from this deal.

I've never had a single hard drive die in 15 years of owning computers. I guess i'm just lucky But i still back up. I was planning to buy this as a backup drive because of its huge capacity and good price. I shoot a lot of pics. Currently i just save them onto my raid 1 array of 2x 500gb seagates. But i'm planning to buy this 2tb monster to periodically backup all my pics. So what the consensus on this. Good buy or not?

If you jump on this deal, just take out the drive and throw away/Freecyle the enclosure. Where else are you going to get a single 2TB drive for $150??

    Thanks,
