m-audio makes decent budget equipment - I have their semi-weighted keyboard, it's very good for the price

Nah, be careful about getting this. I have one sitting at the foot of my bed right now. Both my friend and I tried it on our laptops and computers and it doesn't work right on any of them. We keep getting the same distortion sound like really annoying static. It's on and off. If you search the M-Audio forums, this is a common problem, and I haven't found a solution yet. So it's back to writing songs on piano! Besides, from what I see with their Studio program, this is just a novelty keyboard. I can't find out how to get synth sounds which is what I really want.

i'm a professoinal producer, and this makes for a decent bedroom setup. maudio is very solid when you get their higher end stuff.. this cheap stuff will take a beating though. i'd get this for fun, which most of u probably would want it for anyways.

I have always wanted to get into creating beats and music. Would this be a good start? I messed with FL Studio a bit once before but it was discouraging...

So excuse me forgetting, but these things I do
But you see there’s something that we need to tell you Anyway The thing is What I really mean You’ll only get one per purchase unless you buy all three ‘Cause Woot’s only selling these Sep-er-ate-ly So if you want the whole set you’ll have to be In it for three We hope you don’t mind It’s still a great buy |
