Good price, though if its just a 12-lbs turkey, its about the same price as most grocery stores around here ($0.49/lbs at Stop-and-shop). Saves about $1.

Sorry, OP, but, as my father used to say, you're about a day late and a dollar short!
![]() Nah, thanks for posting, but this is from LAST week (notice the article is dated November 4th), and the sale has already started. The turkeys they're referring to are Jennie-O turkeys selling for 40 cents/lb. My WM was cleaned out of them in the blink of an eye. They're supposed to be re-stocking them, but no definite date...you just have to keep checking your local WM. Also, the other items are already on sale. before you jump on this, you should probably consider what it takes so that walmart can sell a turkey for $5.
THIS is the poultry industry you are supporting when you buy shit from a souless company such as walmart: The True Cost of Cheap Poultry [youtube.com] Do yourself and the world a favor and resist. |

"* Prices and availability may vary in AK, HI, OK, NM, WI and at Walmart.com. Prices on select Grade A turkeys begin November 4; limit two turkeys per customer; weights and brands vary by store."
Looks like to me that this _should_ be national except for the states named above. That is, if any store could not give this price, why would they list specific states? |
