My GF bought the tv yesterday, thought she got the 15% off, but only got the 10% off. Is it possible to get that fixed today, or would it be a waste of time?

So my Sears usually closes at 5PM or 6PM on Sunday nights anyways, so I didn't want to risk it. I'm pretty certain they wouldn't stay open for the VIP sales, although I could be wrong.

That, and I'd have to open up a new Sears card to get the 10%, and let's be honest I don't really need another credit account at all (who does?)

So I got in on the Dell deal with the HTIB, which I think looks to be a better deal.. The PN50B530 and PN50B550 seem to be almost identical with the exception of a few additional inputs, but I don't need those extra inputs anyways. For anyone who cares, here's a comparison (copy/pasted):

EDIT: Nevermind.. looks too ugly copy/pasted and I can't figure out how to link it since their site wont send me an email with the link when I ask it to.. ugh

    EDIT: Here's the comparison:

I would have gone for the Dell deal instead (I guess people were getting it by phone well into the night) but the home theater doesn't do remotely close to what I need it to, and the Sammy at Sears has a VGA in (made a mistake about this upthread). I actually had my eye on that set in the store for a while, but didn't think it would drop low enough. At $813 OTD it was a steal.

    Even snagged a B & D toaster oven for under $20.

Good buy on the Dell deal for those who got it. Would love to have my TV shipped to home rather than to Sears...3 flights of stairs with a 100lb plasma is not gonna be fun...but a few hours of Modern Warfare 2 on that set will more than make up for it.

Got home late so am just now posting my experience...
Got there a few hours early just to see what they had in stock and to check it out in person. The first lady was hella rude and didn't even want to answer any of my questions. She kept saying stuff like " for that cheap its probably just a 720... I don't have anything that cheap here"... I was cracking up, I said NO.. Its for the Friends and Family sale tonite. She says something like -" I donno!. go look on the computer then"..I'm like, what? don't you know your promotions? you work here.. She tries to show me some other cheapy TVs so I turned around and found another guy, who whipped out the flyer and told me to come back and he'll have one waiting for me right at 6. He was super helpful and didn't push anything. I got the 15%.. but I cheated cuz my wife works at Kmart and I got the xtra 10% from that. Not the Sears Card. He didn't do anything to get the extra 5%, it was just there. I think I like this gray color more than I would like the red TOC from the Dell deal. Also, I have no use for a crappy HTIaB. but awesome for anyone who got one at this price.. truly a beautiful TV. I can't wait to see the UP blu-ray on my next day off with the kids!..Thanks OP , reps /thumbs up.... can you believe there will be people lining up for this on BF instead of just dealing with a couple extra people from a F&F event..crazy!

Happy to hear that most got this deal...and I myself would rather have the 550 model instead of the home theater. A pretty slick deal....and I didn't have to get up at 3am haha.

None of my local stores would do the 10% sears card + the 5 % friends and family discount. Such BS.

Still @ 899 + 10% off I still got one. I think the difference was an additional 41 dollars
