I have a set of these speakers that were $40 AR once upon a time....good old days, haha....but awesome speakers, not too powerful for some people's taste, but I dont need it that loud.

In for one. A ton of good reviews and although the EPP would be a nice touch the free shipping is lost when applying the EPP discount. So in this case it's a moot point.

Nice price, only have one question. First time i'm buying a 5.1 speakers, planning to use it in my old desktop, does my computer need HDCP to plug it in? Like a card or something? Thx

You'll need a sound card that processes 5.1 sound in order to get surround from your computer.

not really that great,

I got mine about a 1.5 yrs ago from circuit city for $50 ar.

not happy with the volume, if you have a small room this may work out, besides they don't give you enough cable to make where the rear speakers are in the rear, unless you want wires all around.

there is better stuff out there.

they are not wireless if that's what you are asking.

satellite just refers to them being separate from the subwoofer and connecting to it by wires
