Do they charge your card now or when it's shipped? I couldn't find anything about warranty or extended warranty, does anybody have any idea if they offer one?

Thanks for pointing that out, I want HD video. Not as good as the staples deal, but the SD781is is $160 here:

I bought the same camera last year in November 2008, for 149.99 with 16Gb Class 4 CD card, so i dont know how this 130 is a good price.

I just called Canon direct store (the deal is already dead, so bite me), and the CSR said that he cannot guarantee that my backorder will arrive by Xmas. So I cancelled it.

I finally decided to call them yesterday and they said that don't have any more and had alredy canceled my order. They also said that since I made my order as a "guest" rather than creating an account, they didn't have my contact info to let me know. That didn't make sense because they obviously have my email address which is how I got the receipt...oh well, anyway..so much for that deal...
