I had this and it broke within 6 months. Digital display stopped appearing. I read numerous issues with these units. Ill never buy Lacrosse products again. Just a warning

I was going to jump on this deal but then realized it was the lesser of the two models. Don't get me wrong, it's a great charger for a great price, but it's the lil brother of the BC-9009.
So, just make sure you are ok with the lesser of the two.

Internally they use the same mechanism, so they'll do the same job. Most people would rather pay the cheaper price instead of getting the extra accessories.

something to keep in mind with this charger:
if a battery gets discharged enough, this charger will sometimes simply show "null" when you put it in, which is supposed to mean a bad cell.
however most of the time the battery is fine. you'll have to "jump start" it in another charger, then put it in this charger.
i threw out a few batteries before i realized this...

otherwise it seems like a fine charger.
