after that non-live version deal yesterday i discovered the live version which has ethernet so i can access remote pc's so for the most part i won't need a media server. best price then was around $129, so this is a steal.

I am having a hard time getting my WD to read my files on Windows 7. Vista is a piece of cake, can even get stuff from itunes. But when I try on my other pc with Windows 7, it's a pain in the a$$. Someone knows an easy way.....Thanks

Google it. The answer has to do with setting up something with the homegroups in 7, but it's something really simple. It was mentioned in a review video I watched yesterday but I can't really recall specifics off the top of my head, sorry.

and try to adjust File sharing connections, Password protected sharing from
Control Panel->Network and Sharing Center->Advanced sharing settings
