I sold Season 1 for $599 before this came out. I wish they had never released this, but gotta give the deal a thumbs up. People that paid $500-600 for 1 Season are probably a little bummed.

The one I picked up at Best Buy yesterday for ~$68 has 26 discs, not 25 like this one. Still a good deal for a great series.

I was just looking at this yesterday.. it was $98 on Amazon, and $65 at BestBuy. I bought it at BB with 10% BCB, but it's backordered. I bought this one too since it's the same price, maybe a little cheaper, and will sell the other set from BB once it finally arrives!!

I don't know about serial numbers, but they both describe "4086 hours" of run time. BB says 26 discs in the title, but the detailed description only includes 24 discs. I assume both sites have the same set.

The only difference between the Best Buy Exclusive Set and everyone else is that the BB set includes Peacekeeper Wars.

The preorder price on Amazon for this was $104.
I paid $74 for it from Deep Discount.
Oh well, you've got to pull the trigger sometime, but this is being reduced much faster than I expected!

I've always been interested in checking this series out.... but I'm a little hesitant..

I'm a fan of Stargate SG1, Atlantis, SGU, BSG, Firefly...

However this show seems to use a lot of muppets etc... and I was never really sure how good it would be. Anyone have any advice on whether I should bite on this deal or not?
