FYI......
I bought this TV about a week ago, (a few friends bought the same TV) and it has a problem switching from an HD signal back to an SD signal. Most of the times, the TV won't auto adjust and the video signal will be lost. I tested this on 3 different sets with the same result.
Turning the TV off, and then on solves the issue, or simply switching imputs might bring the picture back, but it is a PITA if you ask me!
Another work around, is to set the cable box to output a "FIXED" picture format, instead of AUTO DVI / HDMI

GOOD NEWS!!! I have great news for those who bought this TV to send it to your family in India
. The TV is NTSC TV that needs a PAL to NTSC converter to work in India. BUT, I just hooked up a PAL signal from a TataSky staellite box to the composite video input (yellow for video and white & red for sound). It works great WITHOUT converter! I tried to hook up the component output but got lines. I am very happy with the composite input though..it is very good quality! It is recognized as 576i.

If you're not sure which firmware if for which...
1. just download all and put it in your flash drive
2. Plug in your flash drive to your TV (service only USB - on the side)
3. Your TV will recognize which file is needed and will update it automatically.
4. WAIT TILL THE FIRMWARE FINISH (100%) then turn off your TV by unplugging the Cord.
5. You're done.

Instructions (Begin Firmware Update):
Use the following procedure to update the Television software version:
1) Place the TV receiver in the “On” position (any Channel or input is ok).
2) “Insert a USB Flash Drive with firmware” copied to the drive into the update port (labeled SERVICE ONLY) on side of unit as shown in Figures 1 and 1A.
3) After a few seconds the update screen will appear as shown in Figure 2. Use the left and right arrow buttons of the remote to highlight the “Yes” selection. Press the “Enter” button to begin the firmware update.
4) A status screen will display as shown in Figure 3. DO NOT POWER OFF OR PRESS ANY KEY ON THE REMOTE CONTROL UNTIL AFTER COMPLETION OF THE UPDATE!!! DO NOT REMOVE USB FLASH DRIVE UNTIL INSTRUCTED IN STEP 6 !!!
5) The firmware update is complete when the display shows “Upgrading is ended” screen as shown in Figure 4.
6) “Remove the USB Flash Drive” from the TV receiver. Momentarily unplug the AC cord (hard reset) and plug back in. Firmware updating is now complete.
