Right now, cruising is REALLY, REALLY cheap. Airfare to get there may not be, but to spend $550 for a 7 day cruise is incredibly cheap on some really nice ships.

I've been doing tons of research on cruises and cruising, and here's some of the cruising websites I've found for finding good cruise deals.

VacationsToGo.com [vacationstogo.com]: This site not only has a bunch of great deals, but this site has a TON of information about every ship out there and is the one-stop source I ALWAYS go back to in getting all the info I need about every ship, every line, and about each individual cruise. When shopping for a cruise, ALWAYS KEEP THIS BOOKMARKED OR KEEP THIS ONE IN A SEPARATE TAB SO YOU CAN REFER BACK TO IT. Trust me.

    Travelzoo [travelzoo.com]
    Cruisedeals.com [cruisedeals.com]
    7BlueSeas.com [7blueseas.com]

Cruising, especially to the caribbean since it's out of Florida and New Orleans, which were hit so hard by the hurricanes, are so cheap right now because they want to bring business back. Cruises are 50-75% off what they normally are. I mean, a 7 day cruise for $429 a person is not bad, and I've seen a few for that price. Check it out.

    Lowest fares search site

Here's a site that I think is better than farecast:

    www.sidestep.com

I've used it for years and I really like the way they display the results format. And its very user friendly...

    take care

here's a couple great sites to find cheap youth hostels anywhere...

    http://www.trav.com/
just click on the youth hostels link under accomodation type on the left side of the screen

www.hostelworld.com is a great resource to find hostels as well plus it gives you reviews from people that have stayed there and ranks each according to safety, convenience, etc...

i got a $12 a night room in barcelona with free wifi

my $12 per night hostel in barcelona had free bed bugs!

there are many nice hostels, it's better to buy when you arrive and can 'see' the place. one exception would be the first night if you arrive late.

Expedia $100 off coupon w/ 3 night hotel stay

I hope this is the right place to put it.

    http://www.expedia.com/daily/prom...id=111853&

The following is from the Expedia.com website. I don't think I can use it because the fine print also says that travel must be by Dec 31, 2006.

Thinking of taking a trip? It's the perfect time to start planning, because when you book a flight + hotel package today, you'll save $100—instantly! Simply book your package of (3) three nights or more by October 8, and use the coupon code SAVE100. It's that easy. You can even use your coupon along with our fantastic 10th Anniversary Sale deals. Talk about a win-win situation!
