I saw the wired 360 controllers for this price in Orange County, CA. You sure the ones you saw were wireless?

Do these work with the PC or is it xbox only?

Controllers are console specific

Target clearances with a red sticker means the prices will drop even more with in the next week or two if they don't get sold out. I remember I saw a game I liked at target and it was on clearance for 15% off. i was tempted to buy but resisted. the next time I went back it was 40% off. and I resisted. the next time i went to target it was 60% off and i pulled the trigger. I'm just saying that it can potentially get cheaper (if it doesnt get sold out first)

most likely xbox only

360 controllers can work on PC as well if:
(1) for wired 360 controllers, get the break-away cable that is a USB adapter
(2) for wireless 360 controllers, its fully compatible with the PC's 360 wireless receiver.

Actually 360 controlers work fine on a PC. Wired 360 Controllers are just USB and plug right into a PC and the wireless controllers can be used on a PC with this [xbox.com]. The wireless controller and Windows reciever are sold together in the Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows [amazon.com]set which is typically cheaper than buying the controler and reciever seperately.

Well if they happened to have wireless ones you better go back because that was a price mistake. Its simple math. The wireless controllers are $50, and you said 30% off. So that would leave them around $35. The wired controllers are $40 and 30% would leave you at about $28 like you said they were. If they put out wireless ones at 30% somebody should stop by and grab them because that's not too bad of a deal.
