Has anyone bought this TV yet, or know how it compares to last years models? Been looking for a 42 inch TV mostly for gaming with an xbox 360. Any thoughts?

This is a great deal...I ordered a 42" c450 from a local B&M near me and I'm waiting for it to arrive instore.

This TV is reportedly a fantastic deal, and an improvement from last years B450. There's a poster on avsforum who thinks this 720p plasma equals the PQ of his 54" V10Panasonic...says blacks are deep and color saturation is excellent for such a cheap plasma...also says it produces one of the cleanest plasma images he's seen yet...

Another poster claims it is superior to a 2010 Panasonic S2 from instore viewing side by side...c450 had better color saturation, no dithering, and wasn't as noisy...also said he thinks the blacks were equal or better to a Samsung B860 that he usually catches at bestbuy...

No thumbs up from me until you put the model number in the title! Otherwise no one has any idea whether or not this is for a 2009 or 2010 model, until they wade into the thread and follow the links, wasting time.

There was no tax in Louisiana, not sure about other states. $65 difference. It's not a blazing FP deal, but it's a solid deal. Hopefully they'll come by tournament time.

Well, I bit. Not very many reviews yet, but last years model was good and this was a nice price. This will be my first HDTV. Hopefully they get it in stock soon! Thanks OP.

I bought that 50 inch version of this in the other thread for $650 or around there I'm not sure
