My buddy has one of these keyboards, it's pretty great but the only thing is the trackball takes a little time to get used too.

Thanks, I just junked my old wireless keyboard, should be nice to have both keyboard and mouse in one unit. Since this is an MClub deal, don't forget to sign up for the extra 4% back for the 4th of July.
Very small correction, the MIR is $6 - but price is still $31.99 AR. |

Just picked on up on the last deal for basically the same price minus the rebate. I have been quite happy with it. I have not noticed any of the problems others have stated with the cursor moving when clicking the mouse.
I have found that the trackball works best when the keyboard is held in your hands using your right thumb to control and left thumb to control buttons. A buddy has one at work in a presentation room and hates using the trackball while the keyboard is on the desk/table. Hope that helps some people decide... |

I have this.
It's nice except the trackball, which is really annoying. I can't get it to track consistently because the thing is loose. If I don't apply a constant hard pressure on it, it slips. Did I mention that the trackball is really annoying? that, and it loses sync. I pretty much have to resync it everytime on boot now. The first two or so times was okay, but I always have to resync now. Another annoyance... Maybe just my hardware. If I had known I'd have this kind of problem I might have thought twice before buying. Still, it *looks* nice. Last edited by nanikore; 07-01-2010 at 04:57 PM.. Man...I just bought this for $44 last week.
This is a great deal. It's RF, not IR. No line of sight needed. It is very responsive. The media keys are good. When using it with MCE, you must hold down a secondary function key for many of the commands. This makes one-handed operation impossible. That's my only gripe--I don't like changing channels to require two hands. Also, the trackball and mouse buttons are on opposite sides requiring two hands. I have the keyboard, it's amazing~! Looks nice too. Trackball is easy to use. Works great with a HTPC. However, I did read that with long time use, they tend to get worn out. I think the person posted earlier with trackball and syncing problems may have something wrong with the keyboard they got.

My boyfriend bought this for me for my new media center. I just got it yesterday. So far, I LOVE it. I believe he paid $40 on Amazon.
