I have to agree. They obviously assume we have no way of knowing what others are getting. Oh, how Allure underestimates us.

I got the same thing in the mail today. I was more looking foward to receiving the brush some people were getting. Bummer. Ahhh well. I can't complain because it is free, after all.

Very true. I have way too many mascaras from allure and lucky. I really didn't need another one. Though I was not surprised to get a suckey reward. But can anyone tell me what is wrong with nair, just so I know why not to buy it?

You have to let the hair grow out a bit. Some people (most) have reactions to it's chemicals and burn their skin. YOU MUST DO A TEST PATCH.

However, I've used it since the 80's and never had a problem.

nevermind about Lucky, mine showed up today, also with the crap of the Nair and samples of the Nivea and Aveeno and Ban. I doubt it was worth that they paid to post it. I'm with BG and want to write them about it..it is hardly fair that some get some great products and others get the leftover dregs..

Nair pretty much burned the skin right off my legs the last time I used it. I don't know if I did something wrong, but I am deathly afraid to even attempt to use it again. Maybe I need eva to give me some pointers!!

I got my reward in the mail today. I was all excited when I saw the big package, but it turned out to be the Nair Shower Power, a small bottle of Nivea Pure Moisture lotion, the sample-size Ban, and the Aveeno sunblock samples. I'll probably use the Nivea and Ban, and maybe the Nair if I get bored enough to try it, but I was kinda hoping for something better. It's kind of mean for Allure to give us their Best of Beauty issure, and then send us a bunch of low-end drugstore products.

I was glad to read from you guys that I wasn't the only one who wasn't impressed with the Chanel mascara. I didn't think it was awful, but definitely not worth whatever exorbitant price they'll likely sell it for.
