I'm going to try and asnwer as many of these requests asd I can but I should remind folks that some of these could be found with a simple search of the magazine forum.
eskimojo: Rangefinder Photo Mag FREE- New or Renewal http://forums.slickdeals.net/show...8&t=353696 Aftercapture: http://forums.slickdeals.net/show...g efinder Popular Photography and Imaging mag - no current valid offers but don't worry, this one comes up a couple times a year. 5ubx23r0 Last offer for PC Magazine was here but it appears dead: http://forums.slickdeals.net/show...8&t=585609 woorfive - No, High Times has never had a free offer as long as I've been doing this and I've been at it longer than most. High Times is not one of the slicks that doesn't really rely on subscriber payments to be profitibale. Slick magazines make their money off advertising. Small niche inbterest magazines such as High Times, Mother Jones, Utne Reader and such DO rely on subscribers for a substantial portion of their revenues. My advice to you would be to go onto eBay and look for a Subscription Broker who sells at subs in bulk. They will sell often be able to give a price for a 4 or 5 year sub that would be the cost of one year if you subscribed using a blow-in or sewn-in card that came insde the magazine. Ohter titles you will hardly ever find for Free: People Teen People Entertainment Weekly US Weekly GQ Star (has happene once via FBM after the last re-design of the mag) You can however sometimes get those mags for free using airline miles. Amazon has deals sometimes for subs to some of these if you make the required purchase. dragonish, rwpope1, mimixiao, RBillion, Memorex: I have not seen a free sub for Men's Health in about 2 and a half years - again, try a broker or airline miles. Ladies Home Journal can be gotten for free by going to Ritead and asking them for the enrollment form for their Live More program. it comes with a business reply card that offers 6 different subs including LHJ. Hurry tho - offer expires 12/31/07 I have to go runs some errands but I will come back and edit this post to include answers to more requests

Should I post this mag offer Test: 1. If deal requires you to have to write cancel on an invoice or risk getting sent to collections - it is not free and shouldn't be posted so DO NOT POST 2. If deal is for a sponsored sub, you sign up on the form, you get the sub for free and never have to write cancel on nothing - POST THE OFFER I miss ISIS (Chana) Last edited by Nuala'sMom; 12-27-2007 at 01:40 PM.. |

i'd love to find a free (or less than $14, which is the cheapest i've found so far) subscription to W Magazine. mycokerewards does have it for free, if i gather enough bottlecaps.
failing that, Cosmo or any of the "gossip rags" InStyle, Us Weekly, OK! and such. |

OK - here we go again with some asnwers people may not like but here thwy are:
The following titles are almost NEVER EVER available for free and when they are, it is usually only through Frequent Flyer Miles or Points sytem loyalty rewards such as Ad perk: ESPN Newsweek People Reader's Digest Teen people TIME Sports Illustrated US News & World Report Women's Day Penthouse was available for free but SLick Deals doesn't permit the posting of offers for pornographic magazines. You can howver google on the title and the phrase 'Free Subscription" which should bring up a faxable form from ther Tampa Penthouse Club. That offer was set to expire on December 31 2007 but maybe you can still get in on it. There was also an offer for one of the Texas Penthouse Clubs with a form you can print out and bring to the club to get a free sub with your admission. That offer may also apply to the New Orleans Penthouse Club. For dirt cheap subs to any of the above, I suggest you avail yourselves of eBay. There are dozens of mag sub brokers there who will sell you a 4 year sub for less than the price of one year at the normal sub price found in blow-in cards. Maxim is still occasionally available for free from Rewards Gold. Best to set up a deal alert so that you will get an email whenever somebody posts a new thread with the word MAXIM in it. I have not seen Men's Health offered for free outside of Frequent Flyer miles for some time. Occasionallly TeenFreeway has held it out as a lure for guys to sign up for Harris Poll and get a free sub as a reward, but TeenFreeway is one of the least reliable places when it comes to fufilling those kinds of subs. However, the Links you see on TeenFreeway to the Rewards Gold, Survey Gals and Survey Guys offers are administered by the company that used to be known as MagCentral and those always come. So keep an eye on Teenfreeway.com's magazine section. If a totally free offer is gonna pop up for Men's Health, Best Life, Esquire or Details, it will be there. ANother place to sometimes find free mag subs is on Amazon. They have recently had offers for Details, Harpars Bazaar, Esquire, Domino, Bon Apetit, Gourmet, Saveur and so on. These deals require a qualifying purchase and in theory they will send you the link. however, they can be bad about that. best to search the magazine forum on Amazon and Mag Subscription to turn up the direct links to use. StartSampling.com is also a great source for free mag subs. Recent free sib giveways there have included: Saveur Better Homes & gardens Bridal Guide Spa Sport Fishing & Diving Waterski Skiing Ski Electronic Gaming Games for Windows Go Boating Rite-aid had a great offer for senioirs but it expired on December 31 2007. it included an offer for the following mags: Better Homes and Gardens Ladies Home Journal Guideposts Vacations Grand Diabetic Living Since the offer was on a business reply postcard, they may cut you some slack and still honor subs that trickle in after the cut-off date. You have to ask at the pharmacy counter for the flyer this comes in. I got a few of the forms and gave them all to my elderly neighbors who were thrilled to be able to get Guideposts or LHJ for free. go here to read all the details: Magazine Sub (Better Homes & Gardens, Ladies Home Journal, and more) - must get form at Rite-Aid B&M http://forums.slickdeals.net/show...8&t=668084 Last edited by Nuala'sMom; 01-01-2008 at 11:42 AM.. |

I have found if you do a business rating at bizrate.com (a survey, they will give you a list of mags, including TIME--a full year---for 2.00 each. you are allowed up to 4. (caution--they will renew at the end of the year automatically--but it is easy to cancel.) Bizrate is reputable, too.
ALSO-- if you go to www.magazinepricesearch.com, they have some GOOD prices on U.S. news and world reports as well as some others...Hope this helps....

US Air's miles program offers most of the mags people are always asking for - that's how I got Time, Newsweek and US News & World report this past year as Xmas gifts for people. Biz rate's offer is OK but for $6 to $8, you can usually get a 4 year sub via an eBay broker to those same magazines and not have to worry about your charge card getting charged the full sub price if you forget to cancel in time. Do what you are comfortable with. |
