how long has it taken people for a wyndham hotel? I booked one sunday night and haven't heard back yet.
I booked a super 8 yesterday and heard back in a few hours
Booked one last night for Palm Springs and it was approved around 10pst this morning. Quick turn around for Wyndham, I'd say!

That's the one! I pointed that out in the claim form, and got approved 2 hours later. It's a Super 8 now, used to be Alexander Inn and Suites or something like that. I think they've fixed the price though.
My first claim was denied by the infamous Darci Withers quoting the usual "unable to find the lower rate blah blah blah" so I re-check Venere to make sure that the rate was still available and resubmitted the claim. It just got approved by Chris Onkka couple hours ago. It's still available on many days if there is anyone else interested.

This was posted on the BRG blog, don't know if it still works but worth looking into:

New York City, NY - Wyndham Garden Hotel - Chelsea West

Here's an interesting opportunity sent in by reader Tavo. He e-mails us to say he received a confirmed approval on this Wyndham using quikbook.com as the competitor with the lower rate. There's a sale on this hotel until 5 p.m. Friday according to their website. Tavo tells us this sale is what makes this a BRG, and also what got him approved. Perhaps this is a website we should be looking at more often!

Hotel Address: 37 West 24th Street, New York, NY 10010

    Competitor Website: http://www.quikbook.com/

    Sample Dates: 4/4, 4/17, 4/18, 4/25 (and many others!)

    Occupancy: 2 Persons

    Room Details:
    Standard King Room
    Standard 2 Doubles (most nights)

Rate variation: For sample date 4/17:
    Quikbook - $133 / Wyndham - $188.10 NR ... $209 Best Available
    (Standard King Bed)
    Quikbook - $147 / Wyndham - $206.10 NR ... $229 Best Available
    (Standard 2 Full Size Doubles)

that hotel is great, very clean and SUPER comfy bed. if you sign up for the wyndham rewards and link it to you reservation they give you stuff from your preferences, i got 2 small bottles of water, a snickers bar, cheese and crackers, and orange juice (all on my first stay). Great staff too! stayed in feb. and going back in april. also in a great location with fun bars around it. not to keep ranting but if its not packed get a burger at shake shack at madison square park which is about 1.5 blocks away.

I did not even know there was a Super 8 here!! Learn something new everyday! I have been looking for San Fran, too, with not much luck.

if you have the option (which you should) book the refundable rate, they will still match it against the non-refundable but the other site is still cheaper. if they dont get back to you in time you have up until the day before your reserve date to cancel.

    Wow, what a great tip!

Is it too late to sign up for Wyndham rewards and link after the claim was approved?
