I did this a couple of weeks back and the rep wouldn't budge so I said "but the t.v has already arrived in San Diego"and he said you will still have to return it and I said fine if you guys wanna waste your money then because I'm in no hurry.

All right my friends. I finally pulled the trigger on LN52A650. I figured I'd place the order at the last moments so if a better promotion comes up tomorrow, I could cancel.
I got it for $1815.94 - $90.80 GB discount - $200 NFL GC - $51.75 Amazon Visa cash back = $1473.39 (or maybe $1573.39 because the GC isn't worth more than a $100)
This includes 2 year warranty (1 yr Samsung, 1 yr Visa). Hoping to see a better promotion tomorrow.

Well, CEVA is well known of their service. They just want to drop it and left. Not even care for unpackage and place it on the bench. Not even mention connect the power. All they want is the signature and get away. I refuse to sign until I check the package and they are annoy. Told me either I sign it or return it. I said I won't sign anything until I confirm and they don't agree then take it back. After that they let me at least test some channel. There's only senior and child in the house and it's not the kind of delivery Amazon promise "After your purchase, a representative of the carrier will bring your TV to any accessible room of your choice and inspect for product damage during transportation before leaving"
I remember someone ever said you could try to have extra discount or shipping fee return for your case.

Wish the LN40A650 would drop sub $1,000 shipped. I recall Fry's selling them for $999.99 + $40-ish shipping.

My experience with CEVA was very good. They took my ln46a850 up 2 flights of stairs, placed it on the TV stand, plugged the TV in, turned it on (Not cold in SoCal), used the remote to surf some channels. After I looked over the TV, they gave me the form and I signed it. Thorough and quick.

Although, my friend has had a bad experience with CEVA, where he had to call a few times to set a delivery date. I guess its a crapshoot whether or not they're going to be good to you.

i got the ln52a750 in my gold box for another half hour at $1830.89.
should i pull the trigger or wait it out?

is there a way to get a better discount, like a % off if i apply for the amazon card. they are offering no interest for 24 months.

The prices look pretty good on both (6 and 7 series), but there is no promotion (like free blue ray player). Would suck to order now at these prices, but have the same prices in a couple of weeks PLUS a promo, like a free player. Tough call.

well, what do you think your options are? you could contact CEVA to ask for your box back, but what are the chances they kept it laying around? more than likely they threw it away, so in my opinion, you're SOL. sorry, dude.
