I didn't mean for anyone to just buy any old thing it was more aimed at those that had an item in mind when it was 20% or 25% and were going to wait it out for 35% when I kept trying to remind them that nothing said this was going back up and nothing said that it wasn't going to go away all together. So, that doesn't mean just buy something but if you had an item you were waiting to pull the trigger on waiting for the cashback to go back up was only going to assure being upset when it went back down or possibly even went away entirely like it was bound to.

I am using the "new search experience" and RSS link does not show up there I had to change it back to regular search option. The new model s4cks anyways

I'm really surprised they're not leaving it higher for this busy christmas season. It would add a lot of incentive for sales, seeing that people are going to be within a buying frenzy within the next few weeks.

I'm so glad I jumped on the 25% while I still could, a few weeks ago.

Do you know how could I get alerted when RSS matches my search items on email / SMS ?

It's just that I don't want to keep reading RSS feed for a good price to show up - but be emailed /SMSed like an alert

RSSFWD [rssfwd.com] looks promising but I haven't tried it. Have you tried Google Reader? It is pretty easy to keep up with your feeds using it.

Ebay cashback dead?

I have been looking to make a rather large (1400) purchase using the cashback. For the past two days each time I would check it would come up 8%, which would not quite max out the single item limit of $200, so I kept waiting.

Keywords like "cheap wii" or "xbox 360" would get the 8% but now the ebay "adds" show up with NO CASH BACK!

Is the ebay cash back dead?

Maybe I'll miss out on 8%, maybe I'll get 25%, or maybe I'll find a better deal without waiting 2 months for a rebate.
