Now next to the communications adapter for the black model it has a link to this.
10. Bluetooth and the Bluetooth logo are trademarks owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc. USA and licensed to Lenovo. 11a, 11b, 11g and 11n wireless are based on IEEE 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11n respectively. The IEEE 802.11n specification has not been finalized and is currently in draft release. The ThinkPad 11a/b/g/n Wireless LAN Mini-PCI Express Adapters are based on the Draft Release, Version 1.0, of the IEEE 802.11n specification. An adapter with 11a/b, 11a/b/g, or 11a/b/g/n can communicate on any of its supported formats; the actual connection will be based on the access point to which it connects. Wireless upgradeable models can be wireless enabled with the addition of an optional wireless LAN Mini PCI Card. These systems are designed to operate only with wireless LAN Mini PCI options sold by Lenovo. Try holding the shift key while clicking on refresh. Last edited by schapman43; 08-20-2008 at 09:46 PM.. I went back to their home page and navigated back to the s10 page and now they all say 950, although if I still refresh that previous page, it says x4500 under white. Weird.

seems like they update and fix the page
all 3 colors have the 950 graphics and none with CD/DVD rom. I think the black will have black keyboard. if you click on "customize" on the black and the next page on the top right it shows the unit in full black. |

I think it is a very good PORTABLE laptop/netbook.
I thought my XPS m1210 was portable, but now I look at it and I think I'd rather have something much lighter. |

"Chinese-IBM" web site says "not liable for errors, typos etc..."...Well is it possible I would recieve a box of oranges instead? I was waiting for that deal for a while...But after with multiple mistakes, I got worried about the quality of the product. Sending for repairs, even covered is not so fun. So I decided to pass and wait for the reviewes...Either do it right or don;t do it....I don't care how much....Then we can talk...

The Athlon 64 2000+ will never make a great netbook CPU, because the entire basis of the supposed power advantage was that the accompanying chipset from intel used too much power. But this entire argument was based on the fact that they used a 22W tdp chipset from intel when there are both 7W TDP and even a 5.5W TDP 3rd party modified chipset available for the Atom (which are unsurprisingly used in netbooks). On the AMD side the CPU itself was the one draining all the power, so there is pretty much zero chance that it'll ever make a great netbook CPU. Maybe the VIA solution will be viable, but the AMD solution is honestly nowhere close to competitive in terms of power draw. Tom's hardware was totally nuts when they wrote that, I can only assume they're complete morons and not that they were rigging it on purpose. |

Did anyone save a copy of the page where it said the red one has a cd-drive? They fixed the website now and I don't expect mine to have a cd-drive but I want to see if I can get away with calling them and asking for a compensation or something like that. It may work, it may not work, but no harm in trying, right?
