Focusline $5 survey - WARNING ABOUT THIS ONE
I just got this email:

Quote :
You are currently listed as a member in our Focusline.com member database.
We are very excited to announce that we have partnered with Surveyhead. The founders of Surveyhead are the original founders of goZing; a company that paid out over $7,000,000 in cash rewards to people who took online surveys. Surveyhead has an abundance of interesting and rewarding surveys and they will pay you in PayPal cash for participating in their online surveys.

Attention Spanish Speakers... We have a survey that needs input from you. If you participate, you will earn $5.00 USD in PayPal cash by creating a member account with Surveyhead at the end of the survey. Even if you don't qualify, you can still earn the $5 by finishing the survey and creating a member account. But time is limited, so if you wish to participate please visit the web page listed below as soon as you can. Here is your personal direct link to the survey:
IIRC, you always get a $5 bonus when you sign up with SurveyHead. Seems to me that this is just a scam to generate traffic to SurveyHead and get people to complete a no-incentive survey while they're at it.

I signed up for SurveyHead a while back for the $5 but they don't impress me any more than their predecessor company did.

I actually like SH so far. The surveys have been pretty quick and the money always credits quickly - so far, anyway. I have $29 in my acct, but won't cash out for awhile yet. I thought they were gonna be scammy at first and was leary, but so far so good. I guess we will see as ppl start cashing out.

I have had a very poor experience with Focusline. I had made my minimum to cash out and requested it. 6 weeks later, I still hadn’t gotten paid, so I sent an email. I did receive a fairly prompt reply stating that they had made a mistake, and I would be paid on the following Monday.

Well, long story short, they sent it to an old email addy at paypal, one I no longer have. Yes, my account was updated well before the payment request. I contacted paypal and confirmed that the money is sitting there unclaimed, and I cannot re-register that email to get it, I have changed providers.
I contacted Focusline, and their records show it is unclaimed, but said they WERE NOT WILLING TO FIX IT!!!! Even though they know it is unclaimed and they will get their money returned to them, they will not send my payment to the correct address. They said it’s not their problem that they some how sent it to the wrong address…….old records or something.
I have remained very professional and cordial through this, but now they are not answering my emails anymore either.
I provided a service to them, in turn the agreement is that I am monetarily compensated for my services - They have broken the agreement, and there is nothing I can do about it………
They are an unprofessional organization, and I would steer clear of them.

I was just going to post that they seemed like a reputable company until I read the post about the unclaimed money and that they would not resend. I do not know all of the rules about unclaimed money in general, but this seems very uncooperative and unethical on the part of Focusline. These sites need to clean up their acts if they want to attract and maintain customers over the long haul. I am getting ready to cash out soon and I hope all goes well. Sorry to hear about your problem, garry454.

Focusline is the SAME parent company as Surveyhead! Both are legit. I have gotten paid over $80 from them this year (mostly Surveyhead becuase once you do a survey from one of their sites, it will not appear on the other so that you cannot do the same survey twice).

Thanks, for sharing. And as far as the lady with the complaint. Report them to Survey Police and Better Business Bureau. And go online and get their corporate office number and call them. Let us know what the outcome is.
