My amazon.com account was just closed recently by amazon. I was so surprised. I purchased hundreds of things from them including a $12,000 diamond. I have made a few returns because of damaged product. The last return I made was a tea pot, the handle of the teapot was broken and of course I had to return it, the other return I made was 6 months ago. I ordered a crib mattress from them and the frame of the mattress was bent, I ordered a replacement. Also, I like to do price adjustments.
This is the message I got from them Hello from Amazon.com. A careful review of your account indicates you've experienced an extraordinary number of incidents with your orders and corresponding shipments. In the normal course of business, the occasional problem is inevitable. The rate at which such problems have occurred on your account is extraordinary, however, and cannot continue. Effective immediately, your Amazon.com account is closed and you are no longer able to shop in our store. I am very sorry for any disappointment this may cause. Please know that any accounts related to yours have also been closed. If you were to open a new account, the same will result and it will also be closed. In the event that you attempt to do so, we will not accept the return of any additional orders, nor will we issue further refunds in connection with any future orders. We appreciate your cooperation in refraining from using our web site. If you require additional assistance, or have any concerns, feel free to contact us directly at account-appeals@amazon.com. Please do not contact regular Customer Service again, as they will no longer be able to assist you. Regards, Account Specialist Amazon.com Has anybody experienced this? If I open up another account, are they going to close it again? |

You caused too many problems for Amazon. Its cheaper to lose you as a client then to keep you. Didnt Sprint start doing this also.
And who buys a 12,000 diamond on amazon. Last edited by kilacam19; 08-29-2008 at 06:15 AM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

seriously - u bought a 12K diamond on mamalzone?
yeah - if you open another account, they'll find you and kill it, or penalize you as stated. on average, have you returned 1/2 of what you've bought? a lot of companies have these types of policies now - as someone stated, sprint is one of them, along with blockbuster (delaying shipments of online rentals to heavy users), insurance companies for people that make several claims over a given period etc. sorry to hear about this - amazon has some good deals. hope you have a friend or coworker willing to buy stuff on your behalf. if you go this route and end up having a few returns, your buddy will feel the same way amazon does and will prolly cut you off as well. good luck!
