I didn't have coupons for wishbone, here is what I did:

10 wishbone ($2.79) = $27.90 = 19.99
1 Viva = $2.29 = $1.99 - $0.60 DBL= $1.39
total: $21.38 used $15 Cat + 4x$1.50 cat= OOP $0.38

Got back $15 in Cats + 5 x $1.50 Cats = $1.12 MM

I just went back and looked too because I was the one who said there were 4. There is a "Scott single roll" with upc 16455, added by fubear. I read it as TP, but I realize now it could be Paper towel. Could someone with one of these products verify the upc and go into the google doc and write the kind of product it is? TP or PT? If it is PT than you are right, there are only 3 Scott toilet paper working.

is the soothing clean the aloe one? the aloe one isn't on the upc list so i didn't buy it. the only one i bought were the ones that the upc ends in 442 and it is the type in a plastic push button popup kind - as jamesmom told us, there are .75/2 coupon inside this is always useful!

Dollar Tree has items for $1 only - no $3 items - does not accept coupons.
Family Dollar has items over a $1 - and does accept coupons.
Bottom dollar is something you bet - I don't know why.

I totally agree that confirmation from SD's is the best, that's why we have the "working"column on the UPC list. Instead of posting over and over again in the thread what worked or what didn't... its easy to look over the list and update what worked for you. Then in one glance you have the UPC and the confirmation it worked. Keeps the thread from getting bogged down, and prevents buying the wrong thing. I simply was feeling bad for these people posting saying they didn't get their cats because the Scott TP didn't work when they weren't getting the ones from the list. Reminding people there is one central document with lots of valuable info!

Hi All,

I have been reading a few post of people's great trips and I just wanted to remind everyone not to double count their CATs. So if you are using previously earned CATs towards a purchase and then you earn more CATs, do not count both or you will think you are doing better then you are... Just count the CATs you are using because the ones you get back you are going to count again when you use them, so if you "count" them towards the current purchase and again when you use them, then you have double counted them..... I hope that made since- in my own mind it did !!

Anyone know if the Wanchai Ferry or Macaroni Grill dinner kits are included in the cat deal? They usually are but are not on the UPC list this time. Just wondering if they are one of the unidentified upcs. TIA!

This is my dh's pet peeve. He doesn't care what cats I have in hand because you could lose them or let them expire, and then what are they worth? It all comes down to your out of pocket. Thanks for the reminder!

I agree. For myself to understand my true OOP, any CATs used in a transaction get subtracted from the PSP/SP as any other MQ. And any CATs earned from a transaction do not get subtracted from that sale since they weren't redeemed as part of that transaction.

I also add back to my OOP the cost of Q's purchased on ebay.

That's how I keep straight how much I'm truly spending.

ack! I thought I checked all my unverified upc's before going so I didn't bring the list and got the cottonelle soothing clean with aloe and I did NOT get my second $15 so I don't think they work. so mad at myself b/c I questioned it several times in the store, but there were very few of them on the shelf so I aSSumed it would work.blahhhh.

Exactly, I don't "count my cats" at all. I only go by my OOP. That's why when you see scenarios of mine, I tend not to include the exact amt of cats I got in return.

I do tend to treat them like $5 dollar or $10 bills though. I have only "lost" $20 in cats in over a year doing these deals. I found them a while back in the kids toy box, They had expired in May. I remember thinking back then that I was cats short, but chalked it up to my aging mind...Now I know I'm not nuts but it sure hurt to toss those four $5 bills in the trash.

Lautel, tell hubby to think of them as currency that you can only spend at shaws - it's equivalent to not being able to spend US money in a foreign country...
