I disagree with you -- I don't think they are a scam.

They clearly stated they paid UP TO $3.50. They are not willy-nilly deciding who does and doesn't get the $3.50, they base it on whether you qualify or not. If you didn't qualify, you didn't qualify, and imho, their giving you anything for your time is nice of them, because how many surveys are taken that give *nothing* if you don't qualify.

So, no, not a scam, they clearly stated their payment upfront. It's not their fault you didn't qualify.

I know it's frustrating when you take the time to do something and you end up not qualifying (been there, done that) but in all fairness, it's our choice to take the chance to get up to a certain amount -- we're not all going to qualify.

Your slave labor in Indonesia comment is not fitting either. Those people are working to feed their families, have no options, etc. We are taking surveys *by choice* for leisure, or to make a couple bucks here or there. It's not making a living -- and if it is, then that's something to reflect upon, because there are surely better sources of major income (surveys are not intended to be the bread and butter of our existence).

I don't mean to come off harsh -- I just don't agree with your position at all.

While I agree that Clear voice is not a scam...I do understand the frustration of the op...SO MANY TIMES I will be 5, 10 or even 15 mins and I DQ !! ( especially greenfield)I HATE THAT !!!

I agree that it does suck when you spend 15 minutes answering "qualification questions" only to be told you don't qualify, but I haven't really had that problem so far with Clearvoice. Greenfield does that to me all the time. I'm convinced I've taken the entire survey minus one question and they just decided I didn't qualify at the very end so they don't have to pay me. Plus, the one time I did get a $10 survey with Greenfield, it took them three months to credit my account. Clearvoice seems to take about two weeks, which is a while, but at least I'm getting my credit.

clearvoice sucks booty. I've been a member with them for a year, and I have never qualified for a survey.

I really have done well with Clearvoice to be honest. I have never spent 15 min and then DQ. I seem to clear like $10-20/month with them which is kind of fun. I am sorry some people are not doing well. It happens. I used to get Pinecones all the time for example, now with the new system, I haven't received one in months. That used to be $5 a pop. The nature of the beast, you have to stay with a winner and dump the losers. Greenfield was always a waste for me so I got rid of that time suck and DQ crap.

if you took the survey what you feel was all the way through, email them and tell them what happened, that has happened to me once or twice, and I emailed them, and was told it is was a mistake, and I DID get paid the amount I felt I should have been paid, I would suggest doing that, just don;'t get mad at them if they tell you DQed, and therefore get the .25.

I actually like them for the at least 25 cents part, because too many places that are scams get me to take a survey and then DQ for free, at least I get something from them.

I don't get many surveys at all from this company, but when I do, I usually qualify and have always received payment. Not a scam company.

Oh I agree ..clearvoice is slow but they do pay... I was complaining about greenfeild. I will say though that often I am invited to the same survey by different companies and usually clear voice is the lower paying. other than that ( of course I pick the one that pays the most) I have no complains about this company

I have never had a problem with Clearvoice. I have been paid by them twice now. They are one of the very few that pay you for your effort. Most don't and it's nice to feel a little appreciated here and there.

These years that I have been involved in SD are not just fruitful money wise... They are fruitful in the heart and warmth and caring that are shown everyday in every forum.
