(serious response) I use mine to measure weights of flour, baking soda, etc when baking, because many recipes specify things in weights (not all flours have the same density,) and if you convert things to volume you end up with 1c flour and 1.825 Tbsp of baking soda, which is impossible to measure, so you just use 2 Tbsp.
(non-serious response) I also use it to measure the weight of the sins of man

If you are going to spend money on a scale at least get something decent.

honestly, I'm not a fan for kitchen items- I use a digital with a tare. For those who are into the spring scales, great deal!

I would buy one for my drug trafficking friend- the bowl would come in handy! (kidding!)
