Next Overwhelming Offer is a Nintendo Wii for $120
For those of you who haven't heard of Overwhelming Offers [overwhelmingoffers.com], they give you rebates after purchase. I bought a brand new Nintendo DSi from Tiger Direct for 170$ with a 70$ refund from Overwhelming Offers [overwhelmingoffers.com] last year. There next offer is now a Nintendo Wii. OO [overwhelmingoffers.com] has had this deal before; the last time was for a brand new Wii for 120$. There is a good chance it's the same offer.

Reserves are limited (usually to 100 people), and on a first come/first serve basis.

This next Overwhelming offer will be available on:
Friday Nov 06, 12:00 PM EST

Good luck to all of you who try to reserve.

    -Oli

    *EDIT*

A lot of people seem to think I'm trying to sell a scam here... Oh well, anyway:

TigerDirect.com Discount: No Coupon Required: 50% off
    Spend $199.99+, Get $100 back
Discount Applies to Entire Online Selection In-Stock (Excludes Gift Cards)
    Discount Price: $199.99 $99.99 (50% off)
    Time to Sellout: 20 seconds

Good job to the few of you who claimed your rebates. Make sure to buy the Wii's from Tiger Direct as soon as possible, and be sure to access Tiger Direct through the link provided by OO.

Oh and BTW, I did make a mistake. The DSi I purchased was in May earlier this year. Sorry for the inconsistency. I posted this when I was half asleep. Good luck to all of you.

This should be the same Borders Overwhelming Offer back in May this year. They have exact same words in rules, styles as well as fine prints. It is real. However, there is a lot of trouble getting the credit. I did once and it took me about 2 and half month to get the credit back.

Be warry of Borders Overwhelming Offers
3 Nights ago slick deals had a post about a 100 dollar Nintendo DSi through Borders rewards. If you bought the 170 dollar DSi you would get 70 dollars cash back from borders. I was one of the winners of the 100 reservations. Upon winning the reservation you had 3 days to purchase the item or else you would be charged 10 dollars for a 'no show' fee. I was unable to purchase the DSi when I first won the reservation because funds that I had transferred had not gone through yet. When my funds had transferred I went to the link provided by email to purchase the DSi, but to my surprise the DSi was sold out. There was no options on the site to reserve or back order the DSi. So I decided to get in contact with Borders rewards. I spoke to two individuals at borders rewards and none could answer specifically [ What should I do to make sure that I am not charged the 10 dollar fee ]. Both representatives told me to get in contact with the merchant of the item. So I contacted TigerDirect and the customer service agent said that he had never heard of this promotion of the Nintendo DSi and that he would need some sort of proof of the promotion. I sent him the links directly to the borders rewards site and forwarded the email that I received upon winning the reservation. He told me I would hear from him in a few hours via phone or email with a solution from his manager. It has now be 36 hours since I have heard from him and I have emailed borders and tiger direct about the matter 2 days ago, and still have no received a reply. By 12:00 tonight I will be charged my nonrefundable 10 dollar no show fee and am unable to contact either customer services because they are closed. I am not looking for a pitty-fest, I am just saying be warry of the borders overwhelming offers because there does not seem to be very good communication between the two companies. No only am I going to wind up paying a 10 dollars fee my reservation for the 100 dollar DSi is gone...

Further, there is no lines in the Overwhelming offer FAQ or rules that states if a product is sold out your reservation is no longer void
    Email I have received:

    Michael,

Congratulations! You successfully made a reservation for TigerDirect.com:
Spend $169.99 on a Nintendo DSi, Get $70 Cash Back. Due to the overwhelming savings our members receive with this type of offer, we have to limit how many members can access this offer. So act fast, your reservation is only valid until midnight 11:59 PM EDT on 05/16/2009.
Remember that in order to receive your savings you must do the following:

    * Use the link for this offer from the Borders Rewards Perks web site - you cannot go directly to the merchant site
    * Make your purchase in accordance with the offer details and restrictions

Cable or DSL should suffice. If you're on a dial-up, you still might have a chance. But, yes, the last Wii sold out in 8 seconds. So again, good luck to all who try.

They've offered better deals on Wii several times in the last month. Got mine for $75 ($125 CB) & one of a friend for $100 earlier thus week both from Buy.com. They also had 50% deals at best buy, walmart, & Kmart this week. Happy hunting. I've never had a problem getting any deals.

yes they charge you full price..i registered at corporate perks..rebate generally available after confirmation of shipment. some time after arrival of product..but remember if you are black memebr then only you can redeem your points as cahs to your paypal account and they charge 5% i think. if not you have redeem them as virtual for specific stores..black membership cost 30$/year..dont know about this site policy..

thanks for the site. never heard of it and it has tons of brand name deals. the only problem is if I understand it well is that you need to be a member or if not they give you store credits instead of an actual cash rebate??????
