    Yeah i was looking at ordering 2 also but this way there is no worry about the rebate(s) both going through due to having to be on 2 different reciepts. And my out of pocket it 225, 5 less than the 2 Kingstons.

    Yes. And using different credit cards.

    I used the same card for two accounts and one of the orders got cancelled, so I used another cc and reordered it. Everything seems fine, both got charged.

    Well, I dont have to pay tax on Newegg so the total comes to only 210. Plus I dont think there will be any hassle with two receipts. The T&C on the rebate form clearly states as long as everything is in the same envelope it should be fine.

    The Kingston 40GB uses the Intel controller, so they're roughly the same. From benchmarks, it looks like the write speeds are cut in half, but the read speeds are still phenominal.

    somewhat of an understatement since the X25's write speeds were already abysmal.
